Cybercrime is increasing and presents a real risk to Kiwi businesses. The number of cyberattacks on small Kiwi businesses doubled from 2018 to 2021, with an average cost of $159,000 per attack*. Therefore, cyber protection is becoming increasingly important for all businesses – no matter their size. Installing anti-virus software, making sure multi-factor authentication is enabled, and completing regular system backups are the first steps in protecting your business from cyber threats. By adding cyber insurance protection, you'll have a safety net that can help safeguard your continued operations should you experience an attack or incident.
